Managed Cloud Services Engineer

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

Aerie is looking for a Cloud Service Engineer to assist our clients by supporting their cloud-based business applications. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on leading edge Microsoft technology for some of the world’s most respected companies. This role is an important member of our Managed Cloud Services team and will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

As a Cloud Service Engineer, you will support Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Aerie custom applications. This position will also play a crucial role in our project engagements by becoming familiar with client contacts, different technical environments, and productivity applications. The ideal candidate is eager to learn how our team applies Microsoft’s leading-edge software to solve unique business problems, is a self-starter who can pick up work during down time, properly execute work during busy time, enjoys assisting clients with technical support issues and is able to explain complex details simply.

This position is required to work on site at the Aerie Headquarters in Winooski, VT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the main point of contact for all requests received for our Managed Cloud Services practice.
  • Providing timely responses and accurate resolutions to logged support issues in order to maintain our SLA’s.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate resources.
  • Formally documenting proposed fixes/solutions.
  • Managing Customer Support Portal and ticket details.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date Knowledge Base.
  • Provide detailed insight into recurring Managed Cloud Services client reviews and roadmap exercises.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing
  • 3-5 year IT experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Cloud Service Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Licensing & Support processes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • 2+ years’ experience with at least 2 of the following Microsoft Software Platforms: M365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Agents), Azure
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Microsoft Certifications are a plus.
