Based in our Boston office, Dave Fisher plays a variety of critical roles at Aerie, from developing new business and managing client relationships to back-end office logistics. “I try to give our team the tools and atmosphere so they can do what they do best,” he says. “I love how every project is unique — and it’s fun going to companies, learning what they do, understanding their needs and challenges, then being part of their success.”
Dave earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Notre Dame, knowing that whether he worked as an engineer or not, he would learn how to think through problems. He moved from a first job as a construction project engineer into construction business development, and he brought that career to Vermont. His work was fulfilling; yet Dave always knew he wanted to start his own company.
“I’d always been computer-geeky with databases to manage my business contracts,” Dave says, “and when Dan introduced me to SharePoint, I said, ‘Every company should have this.’” He and Dan formed Aerie with that idea in mind.
