"We listen and learn, then step back and map out a variety of solutions our clients might be too close to see. If we can understand your business well, we can help you get more done in less time with less wasted resources."
Raised in Vermont in a family of teachers and early adopters, Dan was a self-described “computer geek” by the time he was 9 years old. Later, while studying at the University of Rochester, he began exploring the Internet before most people even knew it was out there. From his earliest BASIC programming days, Dan understood technology could be a powerful tool, but it was while managing technology systems for a busy construction company that he fully realized, “Information technology should do more than just keep the ship afloat; it should help the ship chart a true course and run more efficiently.”
He co-founded Aerie Consulting with that goal in mind, working hard to understand the opportunities and challenges of each client’s business and then using that knowledge to build proactive, innovative solutions to help increase productivity and build success. “This is, at its heart, a creative enterprise,” he explains. “We listen and learn, then step back and map out a variety of solutions our clients might be too close to see. If we can understand your business well, we can help you get more done in less time with less wasted resources.”
To every Aerie project, Dan brings 20 years of experience and perspective designing, building and maximizing project management and information sharing systems for sectors as diverse as education, real estate, construction, legal, healthcare and manufacturing. Working closely with team members, he provides technology leadership and a deep knowledge of planning, design, training and support services. His focus includes establishing strategic objectives and managing technical staff while always thinking ahead to ensure long-term success of initiatives for clients like Keurig Green Mountain, Control Technologies, Inc. and PC Construction.
